Hey there everyone! While we are back at Johns Hopkins for Jeff’s eyes👀, we are blessed ❤️to have Lindalyn holding down the fort today.

Everything is local but the peaches! We are open 10-5 today, 10-6 Friday and 9-3 Saturday and Sunday. Yes- we extended our hours!

Update: we have more hope after our visit and will be heading back up Thursday for an additional test to see if he meets the criteria to drive. The doctor feels like from all the special tests they did, he should meet the criteria. Of course, we are slightly guarded, but overwhelmingly excited for hope. The previous tests were singular- meaning they score each eye individually and he needed to have both eyes tested at the same time bc when we drive we use both and they compensate for each other. We can’t thank you all enough for your prayers and love. We felt them every step of the way and please continue them for our Thursday results to be what we hope for. We love you all.

Today is a big day for us. We are at Johns Hopkins hoping for good news. As many of you know already, Jeff has had diabetes since he was 18 and it has affected his eyes. He was reapplying for a CDL license and didn’t do well on the vision test with his peripheral vision. Years ago, Jeff had many lasers to help his eyesight (bleeds) that a lot of diabetics face. Unfortunately that created scar damage that he’s battling today with his peripheral vision. The worst part is that the CDL was not a necessity, but something he has had for 40 years and wanted to keep. We got a letter in the mail weeks ago revoking his driving privileges in its entirety and as you can imagine, we are devastated. He just turned 61 and as a Farmer his career requires him to drive everywhere. Please lift up good thoughts and prayers for him today! Praying we will have a good test results and some better answers than we’ve been given thus far - thanks so much. ❤️

Tonight my hubby soul is full. The Lord gave us a truly on time rain as our crops were at the point of almost no return if we didn’t get any. Now he is eating four of his summer favs! English cucumbers , tomatoes, cantaloupe, and sweet corn. Come get some tomorrow before it is sold out! I sampled it all and wow!
