Meet Mabel!

Mabel is our calm spirit of the group. She never really wants to be in the spotlight, so snagging an individual picture is tough. When she was younger, she resembled a Bald Eagle with the white markings from her neck up.

This year we purchased 10 hens (sexed) for our farm. Each name was thoughtfully given. We talked last week about introducing the ladies one by one so they can be recognized in pictures. Except this morning we woke up to a crow and some longer curly tail feathers. Thank you Tractor Supply lol.

So…meet Reba. Given HIS name for his beautiful red color and because he was always singing as a chick. No we’re not changing it. Yes, we are going to keep him. He has not shown aggression to the others. Here’s your one chance Fancy, don’t let us down 😂
