We would like to wish everyone a Happy Father's Day and a Blessed Summer Solstice. We take a lot of thought in celebrating both. Had it not been for my father, there would be no farm stand or farm. He was instrumental in supporting and encouraging us to do this.
Chuck and/or I will be at Art 's Produce Wagon this weekend from at least 9:30-2:00 both Saturday and Sunday, if you would like to stop by while we are there. We, of course, are open with our self-serve / no-contact sales beyond that.
This weekend, we have some great Snow Peas at $2.00/quart, White Onions (2/$1.00), Large Heads of Local Cabbage ($3.00/head), and Stalked Garlic for $2.00.
In addition, we have an amazing array of our own grown, harvested, and freeze-dried mushrooms for just $4.00/ package. We have Blue Oyster, Pink Oyster, Chestnut, Lion's Mane, Black King, and King Trumpet. Those who have tried them have applauded their taste. If you are planning any type of grilling and want something to set yourself apart, I would consider our mushrooms.
We will also have our homemade Soaps and Bath Bombs. Our best-selling is a requested one; "Plain Jane". We made it from quality Olive Oil and Raw Milk (from Kleins Dairy). Our other varieties are made with equally natural ingredients of Rendered Fat from Lorah's Pig Farm and Raw Klein's Dairy Milk. We have Lemon, Orange Plus, and our Exfoliating Charcoal Coffee. Each bar is only $7.00
Our Bath Bombs are Lavender, Blood Orange, Orange Mint, and Lemon.
