There’s a project brewing in the incubator at DiIorio Farms 👀

Something small, speckled, and about 20 to 25 days out from hatching. If you’re the kind of person who already knows what lays fast, eats little, and doesn’t need much room to be happy, you’re probably guessing right.

We’ll keep you posted. Give us a call at 979-826-2688 if you want to know more before everyone else does.

Today, we had the pleasure of showing Great Day Houston around the Market this morning for National Watermelon Day and talked about what seven decades on this farm actually looks like: early mornings, unpredictable weather, and a family that kept planting season after season because that's just what you do when you’re a farming family.

Full segment below with James, Brian & Walker DiIorio. If watermelon season means something to your family too, tell us about it in the comments.

Episode Seven. The last chapter, and somehow the hardest one to write about.

Carsyn, Luke, and Teagyn Austin asked the questions this time, closing out a series that started with one simple idea, let Angelina tell her own story, in her own words, to the family she built it for. Seventy years of watermelon fields, flower shops, hard mornings, and a whole lot of love got poured into these seven episodes.

Thank you to everyone who watched, shared, and sat with us through all of it. This family has seventy more years in us, and we can’t wait to show you.

70 Years, 7 Chapters, One Family Story. Watch the full series in our reels section!

Episode Six is here! 🍉

Bristol and Cole Schmidt sat down with their great-grandma Angelina DiIorio and asked her who actually designed the farmers market we all know and love today. Then somebody asks her about cheerleading, what the grossest thing she ever touched was, and somehow we end up at the White House. This one is a wild ride, so buckle up.

Episode Five is here. Brayden DiIorio and Will Sodolak talk with their great-grandma Angelina about the Watermelon Festival, the seasons that weren’t easy, the music she loves, and the one lesson she’s passed down to every generation since, be nice to people.

Seventy years in, that lesson still holds.

Some of the best stories on this farm don't come from us, they come from the ones who lived it first. 🍉

In episode four, Walker and Laney DiIorio ask their great-grandma Angelina about the animals we grew up with, what life looked like before any of us were around, and her honest opinion on which tractor she liked the most #. Spoiler: she has thoughts.

Seventy years, seven chapters, one family. This is number four. 🎬
