🌻 MEET OUR FARM STAND — HOW IT ALL BEGAN! 🌻

Of course, we are always thinking of crazy ways to expand our business… and the idea of a farm stand just might have been Joan’s craziest one yet! 😂

At the time, there wasn’t anything quite like it in our area. Joan had only ever built raised garden beds, so building an actual farm stand was definitely going to be a challenge!

When others doubted her idea, she persevered. We just had to trust the process. ❤️

So, the research began. There were lots of YouTube videos, learning how to build it, figuring out how to use equipment safely, and trying to turn an idea in her head into something she could actually build. And the budget?💰 $0.00!

She collected pallets and started ripping them apart—which was definitely NOT an easy job! 😂 She searched around the farm for buckets of assorted screws, pieces of wood, stain, paint, and whatever else she could find that could be repurposed. It was a LONG process.

There were plenty of mistakes. Plenty of things that didn’t go as planned. And there were definitely times Joan wanted to give up. But she didn’t.
She persevered. 💪

After months of building, rebuilding, making changes, fixing mistakes, and adding those final touches, it was finally coming together.

Then came the moment…
We moved the stand to the end of the driveway, loaded it up with our homemade goodies, put up the sign, and made a Facebook post.

And then… YOU CAME! ❤️

People came day after day to check it out, shop, and support our little business.

What started as one crazy idea has grown into something we are incredibly proud of.

Today, our farm stand is filled with a little bit of everything:

🍞 Homemade sourdough breads & baked goods
🍪 Gourmet cookies & sweet treats
🍓 Homemade jams & jellies
🌶️ Salsa, pickles & canned goods
🔥 BBQ sauces & other sauces
🧂 Spices & seasonings
🌱 And products made with ingredients from our own garden whenever we can!

Our stand operates on the honor system, we accept cash, check or Venmo. 💰

We are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset, making it easy for you to stop by 🤗

📍We are located at: 29867 Henderson Station Rd., Henderson (just 1 mile off 169), where you can safely pull to the side of the road and shop 🛍️

📋📲 We take ORDERS - if you don’t see it in the stand, order it! You can message us through Facebook or drop a note in the cash box.

For a while, we were the only farm stand in the area. We like to think we were a little bit of a trendsetter 😊because now we’re seeing more and more stands popping up around us! 🌻

We believe in supporting local, growing what we can, making things from scratch, and creating something special right here in our community.

What started with a crazy idea, a $0 budget, some old pallets, leftover supplies, lots of YouTube videos, plenty of mistakes, and one person who refused to give up has become a place we are proud to share with all of you.

🌱 OUR STORY... HOW M&M SAUCES, RUBS, JAMS & MORE GOT STARTED 🍅❤️

Sometimes the best things happen completely by accident...

Our story began when we accidentally planted 97 tomato plants... and suddenly found ourselves with HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of tomatoes! 🍅😂

So, what do you do when life gives you that many tomatoes?
You start making BBQ sauce, salsa, and pasta sauce!

What began as a way to use up our overflowing garden quickly turned into something much bigger. We started taking our homemade products to local farmers markets, originally hoping to make a little extra money to help pay for college... and eventually our wedding. 💍🎓

Little did we know, that little idea would continue to grow!

Today, M&M has grown into an amazing family business offering an array of products including:
🍅 Homemade canned goods
🥒 Pickles, relishes, sauces, jams & more
🍪 Gourmet baked goods and cookies
🍞 Fresh sourdough breads and baked treats
🫙 And plenty of fun new creations we're always dreaming up!

What started with 97 tomato plants has become so much more than we ever imagined.

Along the way, our family has grown, our products have grown, and most importantly, our love for creating homemade products for our customers has grown.

From Matt working on the savory side, Mariah creating delicious baked goods, and Joan keeping the sourdough creations coming, M&M truly has become a family adventure. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported us—from our very first jars of sauce at the farmers market, purchased at a special event, placed an ordered or purchased from our Farm Stand to where we are today.

We can't wait to see where this crazy little business takes us next!

Joan is the mastermind behind some of our most-loved products - including our BEST-SELLING sourdough English Muffins! 🙌

👋 MEET MARIAH - THE BAKER! 🍪

If you’ve ever devoured one of our cookies, bars, or desserts and thought, “I probably shouldn’t eat this whole thing…” - Mariah is probably to blame. 😂

Mariah is the baker behind the sweet side of M&M! She makes all of those big, delicious cookies, decadent bars, desserts, and some of our homemade jams. She’s always coming up with something new, because apparently there’s no such thing as having too many dessert ideas! 🤪

From classic favorites to completely new creations, if it’s sweet, there’s a good chance Mariah had something to do with it. 🧁🍪🍓

So the next time you’re devouring one of our treats… you can thank Mariah! 🤍
