(Week of August 24-29) As we transition to our fall season, we will only be at Columbia Sportswear for the Wednesday shift change and the Henderson Farmers Market on Saturday, August 29. Our self-serve trailer will be at the farm (8132 Pruitt Agnew Road) with the limited variety of produce that we are still harvesting and watermelons. Please call or text (270)823-6150 if you want to check on availability of produce before you make the drive to the farm.

There is a change in this week’s schedule. We will not be at the Webster County Farmer's Market or the Henderson County Public Library on Wednesday, August 19. You can still visit the self serve enclosed trailer at the farm for watermelons and limited cantaloupes and vegetables. Please stay tuned for the rest of the week’s schedule, as it may need to be modified due to current vegetable
production.

Peach Update for Monday August 10, 2026

We will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Our last day for the season will be Wednesday August 12. (Please don’t ask for us to save any for you. We stopped doing that on the last day of the season many years ago. It’s just not worth trying to keep up with all the requests.)

🍑🍑🍑Wednesday August 12: The Cardinal Farms Peach Stand will be Open at 10:30am and will close when we run out of peaches. We will have the last of the FLAMEPRINCE and OHENRY peaches. The supply will be very limited.
🍑🍑When these peaches are gone, our peach season will be over.
🍑ALL PEACHES WILL BE SOLD ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.

🍑FLAMEPRINCE is a yellow flesh, Freestone Peach. It has a firm texture and the boldest flavor of any peach we grow. Like CREATHAVEN, they can and freeze beautifully. FLAMEPRINCE do not ripen on the tree. We will pick them at the peak of their development, but they will have to sit at room temperature for a week or more before they will fully ripen.
🍑O’HENRY is a yellow flesh, Freestone Peach. It’s firm and very flavorful like FLAMEPRINCE. It’s a new variety to us, so I can’t tell you much more than that! We only have a few trees, so the supply will be limited.
🍑The Cardinal Farms Peach Stand is located at 7689 US 41-A Henderson, KY (This is not our mailing address!) This location on 41-A is two miles South of the 425 Bypass OR two miles North of Cairo Elementary.
🍑At the Cardinal Farms Peach Stand, we accept Cash, Check, Credit Cards, Venmo, and Paypal. (Please note there is a 3% fee for all non-cash payments)

We are in the last few days of our last sweet corn planting for the 2026 season. We will have white and bicolor corn on Saturday, August 8, at the Henderson Farmers Market. Next week (early in week), we expect to have bicolor and the last patch of yellow.
