This Mississippi Certified Market encourages & promotes access to fresh local foods. The Hernando Farmers Market was formed in 2008 to provide a market for sales of locally grown farm produce, to make locally grown and produced food available to residents of Hernando and surrounding areas, to promote the consumption of fresh, local food, to provide a quality experience for families, friends and visitors, and to promote the City of Hernando as a destination city.

Children’s Day is happening TODAY from 10am–12pm at the Hernando Farmers Market!

Bring the kids out for a fun morning of free activities, crafts and games!
The first 100 children will receive:
• A free book
• $5 in POP Bucks to spend at the market

Please note: Due to the newly sodded courthouse lawn being heavily saturated, Children’s Day activities have been relocated to LOSHER STREET for today’s event.

Children’s Day takes place on the last Saturday of each month during market season (except September, when it will be held on September 19).

Starting at 10 a.m., the first 100 children receive:
