After we received complaint from one of our customers about suspicious card activity after visiting our store, we discovered a card skimmer device attached to one of the pin pad machines. This device has been removed, and a police report has been filed to address this matter immediately.
What You Need to Know:
1. The skimmer was discovered after a complaint, and we took immediate action to secure the machine.
2. We are cooperating fully with law enforcement to investigate the situation and ensure no further devices are present.
3. The affected machine will be removed from service and new ones are being ordered, and we also have enhanced our monitoring procedures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
