Well it is getting to be that time and Heather and I are a couple of crazy ladies in the kitchen. We have just finished testing a 12 spice dry rub for grilling. Our testers say "DELISH." A little Smokey, a little sweet, with just a tiny kick. Let is know if you are interested in purchasing some!

Yesterday was the first full day our canned goods were for sale at Salon Elizabeth - 25 Catherine St, St Albans, VT, and we sold out of maple butter, luckily I made more last night and brought it over today! I wonder if any were sold? I think maple butter and pepper jelly are our most popular items:)

Pickled garlic is great either by itself or added to a salad, others mash it and add it to mashed potatoes. This happens to be my brothers

So glad my cold is almost gone now back to canning. Made 19 jars of pickled garlic, 1 batch of maple butter and have the veggies all cut up for pickled veggies to can tomorrow night
