It’s been quiet again around here lately - we were made an offer we couldn’t refuse on the physical location of our shop in Highlands, and we are closing this location. 40% off all current stock, and we have some great deals on tables and equipment, so please stop by to talk to Gert herself and see what’s available. Keep an eye out as we will be wintering online soon and stay tuned as we seek out another location! Last day to shop will be Sunday, November 13th. Spread the word!

Need to beat the heat? Stop by for a cold drink - we’ve got Thai iced coffee & tea, red date & goji berry slush lemonade anytime. On the weekends, we’ll have seasonal fresh scones - this weekend’s flavor is blueberry buttermilk. As always, everything is made in house.

Yaya Anytime sauce really is great - anytime! Need a quick brunch idea? Grab a tortilla & melt some shredded cheese on top. Then add some smashed avo, a fried egg & sautéed spinach (done in the same pan alongside the egg). Top with Yaya sauce, roll up & chow down. Come grab a bottle at the shop today!

Gert's Snacks & Spices is a family-owned and operated shop in Highlands, NJ. We have recently reopened after our rebuild from Hurricane Sandy's destruction of our brick & mortar shop. We are back! And better than ever with Thai and Indonesian spices, our "real" marshmallows (made with real marshmallow root), handmade Prik Gap Gleua (a Thai Chili and coconut relish for fresh fruit, fish, and more), Gert’s Sambal Tomat (an Indonesian spiced tomato condiment) and all sorts of new snacks and surprises.
