Good afternoon to everyone here on Facebook, I want to let everyone know that a major heat wave is on the way and to start on Saturday thru Wednesday the hottest day will be Sunday ,the recent rains we had will just keep us a tad cooler than what it would be,,starting on sat the high temp will reach 96 degrees and the heat index will be near 105, on Sunday we will reach 99 degrees - heat index - near 110 on Monday high temp 97 - heat index 102 on Tues - high temp -95degrees - heat index will be 100 degrees with evening thunderstorms. On wed thru sat , on wed we may still hit 90degrees but this will be the last hot day then the rest of week our temp every day will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s . Also we have a day to day chance for thunderstorms,a 40 to 50 percent chance everyday, and some storms during this time possibly be severe ,torrential rains will be possible too. This forecast is for the entire Chicago metro area and all of northern IL.if you live further south of Chicago then temps will be hotter . We will remain dry Saturday thru early Tuesday where the hot air dome will shut off all precipitation….please check on the elderly and anyone you know with no air conditioner,,and please drink lots of water with some Gatorade.im expecting the national weather service to be issuing a extreme heat warning by Saturday thru Tuesday. Good morning to all my Facebook friends and followers, first we have a nice start of the day and are temps will soar into the 90s away from the lake then we will have a big threat of severe weather later in the day and it may be significant. A few days ago we didn’t know if the cap would break to allow us to have thunderstorms, now we’re thinking the cap will break in eastern IL and all of northern IL and the entire Wisconsin, south of Chicago there is a more chance the air can be capped ,if you see puffy white clouds before hand that means the cap is broken and thunderstorm development will happen later .if clear skies and no cloud formation that means the air is capped.then no storm development.now on what I think will happen,for the Chicago metro area and all of northern IL and most of Wisconsin I think explosive thunderstorm development will happen around 2 pm in western Wisconsin then extend further southward in time reaching IL by 5-6 pm,I expect storms will exit entire area by 9pm or sooner ,,now on impacts , the entire area is at risk of a tornado at any given area ,the area is at higher risk is in eastern IL and most of Wisconsin where we can see a few strong tornadoes the map below will show you the area the yellow shaded area is high risk for tornadoes. For hail ,all of IL and all of Wisconsin is at risk for destructive very large hail up to baseball size ,and this is a big threat we could have widespread damage from hail,for the winds , destructive winds are likely in eastern IL and most of Wisconsin,the eastern side is at higher risk winds could be greater than 80 mph . We have all ingredients in place for a prolific severe weather outbreak to happen…I expect a tornado watch to be issued for a good part of IL by noon and a severe weather watch to be issued also. Down below I posted maps of tornado,wind ,and hail maps to show you where the greatest risk is . Please feel free to comment below on any weather related questions or concerns, make sure your phone alerts for weather are turned on , in a event you get a tornado warning ,please take it seriously and also a severe weather warning too, a tornado warning means a tornado has been spotted on ground or on radar and take cover until the warning is over. On any large hail please stay indoors , wear a helmet if you get stuck outside ,a helmet can save your life in a destructive hail storm . Urgent weather update ,,,hello everyone good evening, I want to update everyone on an increasing threat of severe Weather ,,starting in tonight in Illinois the Chicago metro area and all of northern ILL, tonight storms will develop late tonight and I think tonight storms we’ll have a large hail threat this will be associated with very heavy rains that will persist throughout the night , by morning storms will be ongoing , now the thing is if we clear out late morning and just get little sunshine this will set us up for explosive thunderstorms development, and if this happens tornadoes will be like across our entire area and we’re all at risk of 80 mph + winds area wide too ,,I posted some maps below to show where the highest probability of severe weather ,, and all of ILL is in the zone …I will have the latest update tomorrow morning so tune in tomorrow morning for the latest updates and forecast . Good morning everyone, here is the latest update on our severe weather day ,,,this afternoon we have a good chance for severe weather for the entire Midwest the highest areas are eastern Illinois and the entire Indiana,then point south and southwest from that area ,im thinking the bigger tornado risk will be southern Illinois and central and southern Indiana then point south and west , I think the entire area will be at risk of damaging winds and very large hail , I display the maps below to show where the weather hazards are ,,when you see red and purple color or a hatched area ,those are the areas are the higher chances for sever weather ,,each map will show each category like tornado,wind,and hail maps,and the other map shows the entire area outlook ,if your area is in a shaded area then your area will be at risk for severe weather ,,not all areas will see severe weather ,but it indicates that there is a possibility of severe weather in any shaded area ….please feel free to comment below if you have any questions or concerns ,,also this wed im mostly worried about a major severe weather outbreak I will have more on that by Monday evening and Tuesday….have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying our weather , well we have some more severe weather on the way , on Wednesday the NWS has highlighted our area Illinois for severe weather on Wednesday and ending with some snow at night , the severe weather part is all hazards which will include high winds , large hail and tornadoes possible, We’re going into the season of severe weather , and so far we’re seeing a uptick in severe weather in our area , the next 2 months I expect a more stormier weather pattern to set up ,there is a lot of cross country storms coming from California then going across the country …this could be one of our stormiest seasons in along time. I will always try to give everyone a heads up like 2-4 days ahead ,by any Day 3 outlook then the forecast will become more accurate.i posted a map below for the severe weather outlook ,this can change before wed I will have the updated map by Wednesday.feel free to comment below on any weather concerns and have a great day .

Good morning everyone I hope you’re enjoying this warm day today before the severe weather strikes,,,,here is the latest update ,the severe weather is trending higher and it shifted more north too ,now the entire ILL is in the zone of very bad weather , today will be a warm day and temps pushing near 80 degrees but little cooler by the lake in some areas , all the ingredients are all coming together for a regional major severe weather outbreak, today we’re storm free ,it’s after 9 pm tonight when a severe line of storms coming from the southwest moving northeast at 60 mph .these are the storms will have winds greater than 75mph , tornadoes,(some long tracking ) ,torrential rains, and large hail possible, the winds im most concern about ,damaging winds are now likely ,storms will end quickly then we get a little break then the damaging winds will move in with 60 mph or greater will be with us all day til about 3 pm or so, we can have more storm damage ,also power outages are high with this storm .this will be a very dangerous storm, central ILL and the St Louis area may be the hardest hit areas ,but All of Illinois is at risk .prepare for this storm and make sure your alerts are on your phones and if u have a weather radio turn it on.,please feel free if you have any questions or concerns comment below , have a great day and always stay safe from the severe weather tonight ..

Good morning to all my Facebook friends, we have a very dangerous storm coming on Friday night here in Illinois, but this storm will be a regional tornado outbreak and a very high damaging wind event ,multi states areal, included the maps below will show the most and highest severe weather, all of Illinois will be affected ,,, now on the storm , there will be a line of storms on Friday late afternoon developing and they will be racing northeast bound this is the line that will have severe winds excess of 70 mph ,tornadoes ,large hail , for the entire northern Illinois and Chicago metro area will see the storms anytime after 8 pm Friday night ,once the storms clear out after midnight ,then the strong winds will set in and they get even stronger on Saturday afternoon for about 5 hours we can see non thunderstorms winds 60-70 mph in places , we already have a wind advisory for Friday afternoon and night and we now have a high wind watch for our entire area in Illinois from 8am through 2 pm on Saturday, this time will be the strongest winds too. We will see widespread damage in Illinois expecially,also in Missouri, Iowa , Wisconsin, southern Minnesota, and Indiana, power outages likely , this will be a regional outbreak for severe weather our first one of the year , the maps below are the latest maps and where you are on the map will indicate how bad the weather will be ,I have to say all of Illinois is in the zone for all weather hazards ,a tornado can happen anywhere in the shaded areas ,I think the worst will be in central Illinois and western ILL, but everyone will still be at risk , this will be a powerhouse storm and all the ingredients are all coming together, look at all my maps below ,I will have the final maps tomorrow morning we can still see a upgrade in spots too , please feel free if you have any questions or comments I will answer every one of them , please prepare for this storm and remove any loose objects outside,and make sure your weather emergency alerts are on your phones so you can get all the warnings that come out ,,I’m sure a tornando watch and a severe thunderstorm watch be coming out by Friday afternoon and I expect a high wind warning coming out for Saturday morning.have a great day and please stay safe throughout this severe weather event coming .

Good afternoon everyone, I will have the latest update tomorrow on the Friday and Saturday storm , here in Illinois on Friday we will remain storm free til about 6 pm with temps soaring to 75 to 80 degrees , strong storms are still forecasted Friday nite late ,then very strong winds on sat ,,I will have a full update tomorrow and have a great evening.

Good morning to everyone on a Sunday morning , we have some nice days ahead this week ,but the attention turns to our Friday afternoon thru late Friday night power house storm , we have a massive storm coming and yes severe weather for our area and all areas surrounding ILL will be affected ,,right now it looks like a regional tornado outbreak and a severe weather outbreak , the main zone now is all of ILL , Indiana, Missouri southern Wisconsin, and more areas around these areas , this storm may reach a 965mb storm which is very strong for our area , it will bring warmth and strong winds with it ,,regarding the severe weather , ILL is in the main zone along the surrounding states to see some strong tornadoes and very damaging winds as we get closer to Friday I will have a more precise forecast to where and how strong the storm is ,this is a rapidly developing spring storm this will be our first big severe weather event , we’re 6 days out and just prepare somewhat ,make sure flashlights and turn on your weather alerts on your phone ,,if you get a tornado watch that means tornado conditions are possible within anytime of 12 hours or less, when you get a tornado warning,that means a tornado has been spotted either on radar or by a storm spotter,then take cover asap .i think we’ll get our first tornado watch for our area on Friday , and I think we’ll see some storm damage anywhere in northern ILL,,I will have more updates on this ,things can change I hope for better but we have to prepare for the worst if it happens,by this wed I will have a more detailed look on this power house storm , this storm will be making headlines all week so stay tuned for my future forecast and latest updates , I posted some weather maps ,this is just a preliminary I will have more updated maps as we get closer ,feel free to comment below and press like if you like my forecast , have a great day and enjoy your day ..

Good afternoon everyone on a Friday Happy Valentine’s Day , here is the latest update on our weekend weather , first we have some snow coming in tonight and the northern sections of ILL lake and McHenry county’s will see the higher snow totals of 2-4 inches area wide and less snow south , snow will start in evening and only will lastfor about 5 hours then we’ll have a break where snow will return sat evening thru Sunday midday ,we’ll see additional 2-4 inches in same areas and freezing rain could mix in south of lake county ILL Chicago and south will see far less snow and possibly rain then freezing rain ,then on Sunday night starts our deep freeze for about 4 days ..I posted some maps below on the snow and precip , please comment if you have any questions or concerns and press like to support my forecast ..have a great day on this special day .

Pauleys weather update , good evening everyone, here is the latest update on our winter storm ,everything is on track for tomorrow,the only change is freezing rain may mix in on top of the snow which temps will be well below freezing which will freeze on contact and put more weight on the tree branches and power lines , heavy snow in afternoon and evening a good 4-8 inches of snow and locally higher by the lakes ,,after the storm departs on early Thursday morning,I expect another winter storm watch to get posted for the Friday afternoon thru sat nite major snowstorm..stay tuned for further updates regarding the weekend storm …
