Eat well. At Traders Hill Farm food safety is something we take extremely seriously every single day. We want to share a quick note on something you may have heard about: Cyclospora.

Cyclospora is a parasite that comes from human contamination in the environment and can make its way onto fresh produce through contaminated water or improper handling. It’s not something that grows in the plant itself, and it’s not spread from animals and directly tied to sanitation and hygiene practices.

Why does this matter? Because fresh vegetables, especially the ones we all love to eat raw, require careful handling from farm to table. At Traders Hill Farm, we follow strict food safety protocols and are SQF certified to ensure that everything we grow is handled with the highest standards. Controlled environments and disciplined processes make all the difference.

Transparency matters. Education matters. And delivering safe, high-quality produce to your table will always be our priority.

Today, we proudly celebrate the birth of our nation and 250 years of American independence, freedom, and the hardworking spirit that has shaped our country.

For generations, America's farmers have been the backbone of our communities—growing the food that brings families together around the table and helping our nation thrive. We're honored to continue that tradition right here in our local greenhouse, providing fresh, locally grown produce for our neighbors year-round.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, we're grateful for the opportunity to do what we love: growing fresh food, supporting our community, and carrying forward the proud legacy of American agriculture.

We're proud to celebrate a key member of our small but mighty greenhouse team. Ethan's hard work helps make every harvest possible, and the amazing crops coming out of the greenhouse lately are a direct reflection of the dedication of our entire crew.
We're grateful for Ethan and for every member of our hardworking team. The healthy harvests we've been enjoying recently are a true team achievement, and today we're celebrating both a great teammate and a season of abundant growth.

Today, we pause from our chores and daily routines here on the farm to give thanks to the men and women who have served our country. 🌾

Just as it takes dedication and hard work to tend the farm, it takes courage, sacrifice, and love of country to protect our freedoms. We’re grateful for every veteran who has stood guard so that we can enjoy peaceful mornings, open fields, and the simple blessings of rural life.
