One of our board of directors, has been attending the monthly downtown business forum meetings to provide updates about Hillsboro Food Co-op and network with business owners. Today’s meeting was at . They have a lovely selection of local specialty food items like popcorn kernels grown right here in Washington county from and coffee roasted by the Bennett’s themselves! Do you enjoy a volunteer day helping others? We’re doing a volunteer work party to support Western Farm Workers Association members. Together we’ll sort, pack, and deliver food boxes to 100 families in need on July 18th!

9:00am - 12:00pm sorting shift

12:00pm - volunteer lunch provided

1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm - driver pick up/delivery shifts. Drivers will deliver to 4 homes.

Pick between a food box sorting shift or driving delivery shift (delivering to 4 homes), or get extra credit for doing both! This is a family friendly activity. You do not have to be a Hillsboro Food Co-op member-owner to participate.
