Went out to wrangle the turkeys in for the night and check on my expectant mothers. Can you tell Daphne is a bit spoiled? Any time I tried to love on the other two, I got a head butt to the posterior. Ummm...excuse me, Madame...that is not where your horns go...

Finally had a decent weather day, so we got to go out and deep clean coops and move a few chickens around. Which means everyone got some free range time, but someone always has to start some 💩!

Oh, Carol... I, too, question my life choices in 0° weather. Especially my commitment to keep 70+ animals alive during subzero weather. However, it's too cold for me to go out and talk you off the ledge of the roof so you don't freeze to death overnight. I don't need a "jumper" crisis, so please don't do it. Learn to cope like the rest of us...with sarcasm, dark humor and spite!

The turkey is seasonally depressed! Come on, Spring!

If anyone is in NEED of eggs, please reach out to us privately. We donated 5 dozen to a local food pantry last week, and we still have plenty. No judgements. Times are tough. Bonus if you have your own cartons!
