We're open tomorrow, 3/18, from 9am-1pm. We got another cow back from the processor this week, so we are continuing our 50lbs of ground beef for $300 sale. Message us or call 919.357.4115 if you'd like to purchase one. We have lots of steaks, roasts, short ribs, whole brisket, beef fat, tongue, liver, neck bones, and marrow bones also. For pork this week we have bone-in chops, link sausages, whole pork belly, ribs, neck bones, and pork fat. We also have salad greens, arugula, kale, spinach, swiss chard, root veggies, butternut squash, local honey, evercrisp, fuji, winesap, and granny smith apples, eggs, and milk. Kathleen's Perfect Pies will have pies, cookies, quiche, and homemade biscuits. She also will have signed copies of her newest children's book available tomorrow. Hope to see y'all in the morning!

The concert features the five-part "Latin Jazz Pandemic Suite" by Gregg Gelb, winner of the Raleigh Medal of Arts 2018 and the NC Arts Council Jazz Composers Award. Gelb will be joined by pianist Steve Anderson, percussionists Beverly Botsford and Ramon Ortiz, and bassist Andy Kleindienst.

1. At RambleRill Farm, 913 Arthur Minnis Road: The final Saturday Slowdown of the year is this weekend 12.3.22, 913 Arthur Minnis Road, Hillsborough, 10am-2 pm. At this open farm day and Holiday market, meet and greet, get to know your neighbors and what they do! Lots of vendors noted herein along with family friendly activities (visiting the goats and chickens, walking the farm trail, yard games, self-guided tour of the growing areas and apiary and more). Local produce, eggs, meats, honey, baked goods, gifts galore for the holidays, soaps, knitted items, herbal teas and products, art, metalwork, trees/shrubs and more. Free admission and...free hot cider and cookies!!!

2. At Cane Creek Farms, 4310 Bradshaw Quarry Road: Come out Saturday, December 3rd, 9am-1 pm for their annual Holiday Market. You will find fresh veggies, pork, beef, chicken, eggs, local honey, and jams and pickles. Other vendors will be Sunshine Candle Co., Midnight Falcon Jewelry, Poppy's Woodshop, Covington Woodworks, Tallow Owl, Tobi's Bakery, Kathleen's Perfect Pies, Mud and Blues Pottery, and Ran-Lew Dairy will have milk and eggnog soft-serve ice cream. Hello FB friends,
Today is a key day in the year to support non-profits doing critical work in our community. Farmer Foodshare has been near and dear to NC farms, farmers markets, non-profits doing hunger relief support, institutions, donors and sustainers, granting agencies volunteers, board, and staff. Many of you know that for nearly 10 years, Farmer Foodshare worked at farmers markets to buy fresh produce from farmers and collect donations of their produce that market customers bought. This effort included the Hillsborough Farmers Market when it operated at various locations around Hillsborough and worked with their partner agency Friends of the Orange County Department of Social Services. This fresh nutritious locally produced produce then went to area non-profits who addressed local hunger and malnutrition. Today, Farmer Foodshare supports local farmers AND local eaters of ALL income levels here in the Triangle through expanded programs and distribution channels run out of the Hub in Durham.
