Oh my Gerdddddd

Winnimere from Jasper Hill Farm is officially here and it is perfect! This cheese is an American take on the Jura classic Vacherin Mont d’Or. In keeping with tradition, this decadent cheese is made only during winter months when Jasper Hill’s Ayrshire cows are giving rich, hay-fed raw milk. Also in keeping with tradition, it is washed with brine and wrapped with a band of spruce bark. These factors translate to flavors of bacon, sweet cream, and spruce. The best way to enjoy this cheese is to buy a whole round, slice off the top and dig right in with a piece of crusty bread. Stop in for a wheel before it's gone again!

It's still black truffle Brie season! This decadent cheese has a line of mascarpone mixed with bits of real black truffle running through its center. When at room temperature the creamy paste of the Brie oozes around the center line of truffles making for a delightful mix of buttery Brie flavor with truffle aromas in perfect harmony. Enjoy it on its own or with a drizzle of honey, crackers, and a glass of bubbly. Stop in!
