The Sandstone Market will be open all weekend daily until dusk! We are fully stocked with all of your favorite veggies! This weekend we are starting to transition to our fall produce and flowers! We now beautiful mums, pumpkins, pie pumpkins, acorn squash, butternut squash, mini straw bales all great for fall decorating!

I’m a farm girl at heart… tonight my heart hurts ❤️‍🩹Praying for all of our family, friends and local farmers! This weather is so unpredictable! We were able to get most of our stand products under cover this afternoon ! We are soo small in comparison to all of the amazing farms near us! Praying for everyone that this clears quickly and they can get back out to save the fields and crops they work so hard to provide for our communities !🙏🏻⛈️

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I’m so excited for this weekend! The stand is fully stocked with beautiful fruits, veggies, mums and even a few pumpkins! We are transitioning to our fabulous fall goodies so we have a perfect mix of Summer and Fall for everyone that stops by! Did you know Sunday, August 30th is National Farm Stand Day? I’m super excited to share that Six Acre Sourdough put together the first annual farm hop for local farm stands in our area! The Sandstone Market along with other local stands are participating! From the Garden Almanac , one of my favorite pages to follow!

Go stand by your basil before the light is gone tonight. Look at the very top of the plant.

If you find a slim spike forming there, cone-shaped, paler than the leaves, your basil has decided summer is closing. Bolting is the plant's own calendar entry. Cooler nights and shortening days tell it to stop making leaves and start making seeds, and once it flowers, the leaves go sparse and bitter.

The rescue takes ten seconds. Pinch the spike off just above a pair of leaves and the plant goes back to leaf-making for weeks more. Do it every few evenings and you will still be cutting pesto basil in late September.

Tonight is just the check. Spike or no spike, your basil has already cast its vote on the season. Worth knowing which way it went. 🌿

Thank you everyone that stopped yesterday and today while we were rearranging and getting the stand ready for the change of seasons! We appreciate your support of our small business, even when we are a little unorganized! Huge shout out to my amazing husband who always helps me with the heavy lifting!! 🥰 This weekend we have everyone’s favorite sangria watermelons, the cutest little “Side Kick” watermelons, our fresh homemade blueberry jam, along with all of your favorite veggies and a few mums as we start the transition to from Summer to Fall!

Hi Everyone 😊Happy Thursday! The gardens are loving this weather! So blessed to spend the afternoon picking some beautiful fresh veggies with my sister to restock the stand! We have zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, sweet banana peppers, jalapeños, tomatoes, fresh dug onions, garlic, cantaloupe, nectarines, super sweet cherry tomatoes, and sweet corn 🌽 We also have some beautiful fresh flower bouquets 💐 and mums!!!

Hi y’all! Just wanted to pop on and let you know that we added fresh cantaloupe, sangria watermelons( seeded), green beans and plums to the stand today! Also, today will be the last day of the make your own bouquet! Thank you to everyone that stopped and made bouquets!!! This was such a fun “special” and
we will definitely try to do it again!

Coming soon!!!! We have some super exciting news to share…Until then we will be out back battling the mosquitoes while checking our pumpkins, gourds and squash for this fall! Quick peek, this little spaghetti squash got away from the garden and decided to grow in our back tree line! Maybe they don’t like the mosquitoes either!
