Phillips Family Grocery, a longstanding fixture in downtown Hiseville, was founded in 1960 by the late Clyde and Helen Phillips. This cherished community

establishment has been a pillar of our local heritage, evolving with each generation while maintaining its commitment to quality and service. Under Mike's stewardship, the store underwent a major renovation and expansion in 2003, tripling its size and introducing a hot deli alongside several new services. Today, Phillips Family Grocery & Butcher Shop remains a strictly family-operated business, owned and managed by the Phillips Family Holding Group, LLC. This group comprises Mike's four children: Tiffani, Kristin, Dusty, and Trevor, who carry forward the legacy and values instilled by their grandparents. Our Butcher Shop is renowned for offering top-quality meats, cut and prepared fresh daily by our in-store butchers. We take pride in our full-service grocery, which features well-known brand names, a private label, and several specialty brands that provide significant savings to our customers. Shop the freshest produce and KY Proud products, find your favorite frozen entrees or sides, and grab some milk from Hiseville-based Legacy Dairy in our dairy department. Additionally, we offer a range of health and beauty aid products to meet your every need. Phillips Family Grocery also provides a variety of convenient services, including lottery tickets, propane tanks, postal stamps, and an ATM. Exciting Expansion Plans

We are thrilled to announce the largest expansion in our 64-year history. These exciting changes are set to enhance your shopping experience and contribute to the vibrancy and convenience of our communities. Our plans include opening Phillips Family Butcher Shop in neighboring Glasgow and a full-service grocery location in nearby Greensburg, with both projects scheduled for completion in the near future. One year ago today, we proudly opened the doors of Phillips Family Grocery in Greensburg and what a year it has been! 🤩🎉🛒

From day one, this store has been about more than groceries. It’s been about serving our neighbors, building relationships, and growing alongside a community we care about.

We are incredibly thankful for our hardworking team who show up every day with dedication and pride. You are the heart of everything we do.

And to the Greensburg community, thank you for your support, encouragement, and for choosing to shop local. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

What a special night for our Phillips Family Grocery & Butcher Shop family. Our Company Christmas Dinner was more than just a meal, it was a chance to slow down, enjoy good fellowship, and spend time with team members from all of our locations. Seeing everyone come together reminded us just how blessed we are to have such a dedicated, hardworking family carrying on the legacy of this business.

Local Roots provided a delicious pasta bar, and afterward we had the honor of recognizing several employees with awards that reflect both their hard work this year and the history and heart behind Phillips Family Grocery. Some of these awards are named in memory of our founders and former owners — the ones who built this business with grit, faith, and a love for serving their community.

This year’s awards included:
