Our beef is free of growth hormones and antibiotics. We use a USDA inspected facility for processing our beef. The beef is dry aged for14-21 days and then flash frozen and vacuum packed. By monitoring the health, genetic trends, and what we feed our beef allows producing beef that grades out choice or better and still yields a tender and juicy product that has the perfect amount of marbling. All of our animals are feed a grass and grain diet; and are antibiotics and growth hormone free. All of the beef available from Durham Beef is Shorthorn influenced and comes from either our family owned farm (Hagerlan Farms) or a breeder which we have contracted with to grow our animals.
