Friday, June 26th is our FINAL DAY of the season! Fresh Royal Blenheim Apricots have come to an end. If you haven’t been out yet, today is your LAST CHANCE.

Please keep in mind we are not able to hold or refrigerate fruit to pick up at a later date. If you would like to visit the farm during the off-season for dried apricots and walnuts, please call 831-637-4221 x2 to schedule an appointment.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:
Text messages give us a very efficient way of communicating during our busy harvest season. You will receive a daily text message, but only for approximately eight weeks and then they will pause until the following year.

If you have “opted out” because you’re only a cherry customer and the apricots messages were not useful, our system DOES NOT ALLOW us to add you back in.

As this season near its end, please make certain you do not opt out. Make sure your friends and family are all signed up for text message notifications. You wouldn’t want to miss even one day of cherry season or not be the first to know the Royal Helens or Black Pearls are ready.

You say you have no time to make jam or pies… we got you covered! Here’s a simple idea to preserve your apricots for use throughout the year.

STEP 1 - purchase some amazing Fairhaven Blenheim Apricots.
STEP 2 - weigh out 2 1/2 pounds of apricots (which equals 4 packed cups).
STEP 3 - wash, pit and slice how you prefer.
STEP 4 - mix the 4 cups of apricots with 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
STEP 5 - place in a quart size freezer bag and store in the freezer. A box freezer that doesn’t automatically thaw is best.
Voila… apricot pie, cobbler, jam all year round!

This last Saturday, eight students learned all the skills to confidently make apricot jam at home. Each student took home three bottles of jam, two new recipes to add to their dinner rotation and some great memories.

There is still a couple spaces available in our classes this Tuesday and Wednesday, June 23rd and 24th, from 1:00-4:00. Come learn a new skill, eat some great food and meet some nice people.

Keep in mind this is our final week of fresh apricots. Also take advantage of our summer sale on all dried apricots. 25% off with no minimum purchase.

Happy Father’s Day to all of our wonderful customers! We hope your day is filled with family, laughter, and special memories.

We’d also like to send a very special Heavenly Father’s Day wish to two of the very best… our father, George, and our brother, Pete.

Apricot season with be shorter than previously expected. Here’s Nicole with an important update.

If you scheduled for our July 1st jam making class, we will call you in the next couple of days to get you rescheduled or refunded.

We will continue to keep you updated as we get a clearer idea of our season’s end date.
