This Saturday is our first market of the year! We hope to see all of you on May 11th at 8:00 am on the Square in Holly Springs.

The Farmers Market meeting for April 30th has been cancelled. The new date is not determined at this time. For applications and information on the farmers market, please contact the Marshall County Extension Office here in Holly Springs!

Some helpful information about Cottage Foods, for both vendors and consumers! If you’re unsure if your product qualifies as cottage food, or if you are unsure of if a vendor is in compliance, review this information, and head into the 2024 season with the comfort of knowledge! This information is provided by the Mississippi Department of Health, and Marshall County does not differ from these regulations.

Hello everyone! We are very excited about the upcoming season! Some information from last nights meeting;
Our first market will be held on Saturday 5/11, from 8am-Noon. All markets will be held on Saturdays this season. There will be no market during the Juneteenth celebration this year.
There will be another Market committee meeting on 4/30 at 5:30pm at the Extension Office to prepare any last minutes changes and address any concerns before the season officially starts.
**VENDORS**Vendor applications are available through the Marshall County Extension Office here in Holly Springs, during regular business hours or via email, this must be completed before attending a market as a vendor but can be completed at any time during the season for any late arrivals. Vendors selling produce are subject to a farm visit. Cottage-food vendors and Egg vendors must comply with all local regulations, which are explained in said application. The sale of live animals is prohibited.
Vendor fee is $10 per week, or pre-pay for the season at just $30 for the whole season (roughly until the end of October/beginning of November). This fee allows for local advertising and the creation of Market merchandise.
We hope to have a wonderful season, see familiar faces and meet new ones, and have a good time supporting our local vendors!
