Did you know that we haven’t always raised only chickens here at The Frazier Farms?

When we first started our farm back in 2020, our focus was mainly on growing produce. Every summer we grew hundreds of watermelons along with other fresh vegetables, and harvesting them was one of our favorite parts of the season.

While our farm has evolved into raising pasture-raised chickens, eggs, and turkeys, these photos bring back some great memories of where our journey began.

People ask us all the time...

"Do you really move all of your chicken tractors every single day?"

The answer is yes—every single day, without exception.

It's definitely more work, but it's one of the biggest reasons we raise our birds the way we do.

Every day our chickens are moved onto fresh pasture where they have:
🐔 Fresh green grass
🪲 New bugs and forage to explore
🌞 Sunshine
💨 Fresh air
🌱 A clean place to rest instead of spending day after day on the same ground.

Compare that to the conventional system, where many meat chickens spend their entire lives inside a barn with no access to pasture, fresh grass, or sunshine.
