🚨🚨Specialty breed hog alert! 🚨🚨
We have a special opportunity to work with a local farmer raising organic (not certified) kunne kunne hogs. We are looking to see if there is any interest in purchasing these hogs in the spring early summer of 2027 as wholes or halves. These hogs typically yield less weight than your average market hog and are heavy fat producers or lard pigs.

What an honor and a blessing this past month has been.
We attended the 2026 PAMP convention in Penn State where Hunter Hill competed and won 3rd in the 26' Best Butcher Contest sponsored by Northeast Beef Promotion Initiative and PA Pork!
If you want to know more about pork and beef in PA, these two groups are a great resource for farmers and consumers alike.
After returning home Hunter was invited to attend a PA agricultural roundtable with Rob Bresnahan Jr. and US secretary of agriculture Brooke Rollins.
It was a privilege to be involved in this discussion on Pennsylvania agriculture changes updates and concerns. At the conclusion of the roundtable Congressman Bresnahan honored Hillstead Farm LLC and Hunter with a proclamation marking the merit of our commitment to quality ag practices and a pursuit of craftsmanship in butchery.

We are ever thankful to those who have shown their appreciation and support for what we do, and continue to look for new ways to raise the bar with our products and services.
