The mission of the Northern Poconos Mobile Farm Market is to offer an accessible, affordable, and more equitable method for consumers to purchase fresh, local products. The vision is to connect residents with their local food system by bringing seasonal produce and local products right to their doorsteps – reducing barriers to access and providing greater purchasing power. While the mobile market

will reach underserved consumers, it will also benefit small businesses and producers by reducing product loss and increasing market opportunities. Through dedicated partnerships, educational opportunities, voucher incentives, and social connection, the mobile market will connect community members to their foodscape – providing lasting benefits to our local economy and elevating our collective sense of community and place.

Swing by the Mobile Market this summer! We’ll be set up in the pocket park outside The Cooperage Project from 3–5 PM every 2nd and 4th Thursday, following our Senior Gatherings.

While the setup is simpler this year, you can still count on fresh local produce, meat, cheese and other products from July through October. This is a great way to support local growers and connect with your community. We hope to see you there!

We had hoped to be able to finish out this week of markets before parking "Vannie" for the winter, but Mother Nature has other plans 😕 Given that several inches of snow is expected to fall between Thursday & Friday, we decided that it was best for everyone's safety if we cut the season a bit short.

We've enjoyed meeting so many new faces - and seeing lots of you coming back week after week! - but now it's time for our winter break. We can't wait to come back in a few months, reinvigorated and ready to hit the roads of Wayne County!!

Not exactly as dedicated as the postal service, with all that "Neither rain nor snow..." business - but we ARE dedicated to bringing you fresh locally grown and produced foods even when autumn gives us all this unpredictable weather!

A new month means new flavors of our locally made frozen quiches!! This month, we're celebrating a classic summer pairing (tomatoes & basil) as well as an unsung hero of the late summer garden - the leek! Personal & family sized quiches are available. Just like last month, this is a LIMITED RELEASE - when they're gone, they're GONE!

Quiche are prepared locally by Valley View Farm & Venue using only the freshest & finest local ingredients, including cheeses from Calkins Creamery. New flavors are released at the beginning of each month to highlight the in-season crops, and when they're sold out - you'll have to wait until the next month's flavors are released!

Come see us this week to get yours! We'll be at the Fred R. Miller Pavilion on Main Street in Honesdale from 4 PM to 6 PM today (Thurs 9/5), and at Maple City Apartments in Honesdale from 1:30 to 2:30 tomorrow (Fri 9/6).

Our market location on Main Street isn't just for Third Thursdays!

We enjoyed seeing your smiling faces as you checked out the shops and restaurants on Honesdale's Main Street last week during GHP's Third Thursday event! Did you know that our Mobile Market van is set up on Main Street EVERY Thursday? - Not just on Third Thursdays!

That's right - you can stop by to pickup locally grown fresh produce, frozen meats, and a variety of dairy products while on your way home from work. Located in the Fred R. Miller Pavilion, the Stop-n-Shop parking lot makes the Mobile Market easy to get to - and with payment options that include SNAP / EBT cards, FMNP Vouchers, and NEAR Cash (along with cash & card), our products are accessible for all!

NEW PRODUCT ALERT!! Each month we will be featuring 2 flavors of frozen quiche made by the fine folks at Valley View Farm & Venue in Honesdale.

The quiche is available in 2 sizes and is a LIMITED RELEASE ➡️➡️➡️ Quiche will be available at the beginning of each month, and when it's gone - it's GONE!! You'll have to wait until the start of the next month for the next release of seasonal flavors.

August's flavors are Zucchini & Gouda, and Spinach / Chard & Gruyere in a Gluten Free Potato Crust. Two sizes available - personal & family.
