As an organization born from a genuine desire to promote indigenous health and wellbeing in Hawaii, has, over the past decade, helped over 3,000 families create a papa and pohaku kuiai, distributed more than 500,000 pounds of kalo and ulu for hand pounding to local kalo farmers, and provided over 50,000 huli (taro starters) and 8,000 breadfruit trees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been some time since has pounded at a market, and we are excited to have them at our Saturday Kakaako market this week with fresh hand-pounded ulu poi and paiai from 8-12 or while it lasts.
