Do you love our local community Honor Farmers Artist & Makers Market?

This market is run primarily by a local volunteer with the support of a couple of generous local businesses and the Village of Honor Council allowing us to use Maley Park and the services of the Department of Public Works.

Since 2024, this market has grown from 18 vendors to as many as 40! Local “farmers markets” are an opportunity for small growers, creators and entrepreneurs to bring their products, make connections and grow their business while interacting with their communities.

We are looking forward to continuing our market in 2027! We would L🌻V E to add a few dedicated locals to help by volunteering, even a few hours on Tuesdays, June - August next season!
Some of the jobs would be..
🌻 Help the market manager with business outreach and new creative ideas
🌻 Running a new SNAP food assistance program
🌻 Putting out ‘Market Today’ signs in neighboring communities from 7am-9am
🌻 Meeting vendors at Maley Park to organize booth placement on Tuesday mornings.
🌻 Filling in for the market manager for vacations
🌻 Helping with social media

🍕 Thank you Bill Sweet and Sweet's Bar & Grill for making our market a little more delicious with a free pizza drawing each week! Congrats to all the winners! ❤️

☕️ Thank you Tom and Alex Maegdlin and Weldon Coffee for keeping the best coffee in Northern Michigan flowing at the market! The customer and especially the vendors looked forward to that each week!

Today is Market Day in Honor! Our last market of the season will be packed FULL of Produce, Baked Goods, Food Staples, Flowers, Art, Crafts and MUSIC!

Our Market is in Maley Park from 9am-2pm. Starting at 11am until 1pm we will enjoy the Americana Folk vibe of Stefanie Clark Harris & Vincenzo DeWald! Plan to grab some lunch from TC Taco or a yummy treat with a cup of complimentary weldoncoffee and enjoy some music in the park!

We will also have 2 new vendors!
Mie Radici olive oils, balsamic vinegars and spices and Maryjeans Loveable Baked Goods!

Don’t miss our last market of the season! It’s sure to be a great day!

Tomorrow is our last Honor Farmers Artist&Makers Market of the season and we are going out with a BANG!!

Plan to join us from 11am-1pm to listen to Stephanie and Vince, a duo from Nashville now living in TC that will treat us to some fabulous Americana Folk! Check out Stephanie’s EP, Waking in the tall grass, no shoes on Spotify!

We will also have a new vendor from the Coho Vendor Market, Maryjean’s Loveable delicious baked good!!

Grab some TC Taco and a Northern Fizz and grab a seat at a picnic table or bring a chair for some MUSIC IN THE PARK!

See you there for our big send off to a great market season 🌻 Tuesday, August 25th in Maley Park from 9am-2pm!

This year The Coho Vendor Market will have something for everyone! Located in Homestead Twp Park, 11508 Main St in Honor, next to the BIG red and white striped tent! Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturday 1pm-5pm

Kids can enjoy a Petting Zoo, The Slime Factory, Face Painting and come throw the football with The Benzie Gridiron!

Festival goers will find fresh produce, baked goods, skin care, dog treats, maple syrup, jewelry, apparel, home decor, photography, arts, crafts, wellness products, henna body art and more!

Don’t miss the Carnival, Jack Pine Lumberjacks, Parade, and so much more!!
