The bees are pollinating the cherry blossoms. I love the buzzing sound as I walk through the cherry orchard! It's probably going to be another early season this year. Check back in early June for an estimate of opening day. Probably mid-June again. Can't wait for fresh organic cherries!

Today, we had a large turnout of volunteeers from the Gorge Grown Gleaners come out to pick the remaining organic apples for food banks and other programs to deliver here in Hood River County, Portland & Vancouver! it was a gorgeous, sunny, windy, fall day today! We have so many apples it's still easy picking! We are open all weekend for easy picking!

• Pre-picked! 40-45 lb box is $60 (smaller organic honeycrisp)

• Pre-picked 10lbs from the tops of our trees $20

• U-Pick organic apples our usual price. about $30-35/bucket

The trees are so plentiful still! -- We will try and stay open longer this year, but please come out sooner than later as they start dropping off trees.

It's a gorgeous Sunday Morning here at Hood River U-Pick Organic. We will have u-pick organic Asiain Pears in a few more years! But right now, we have a lot of organic honeycrisp to pick!

Today was a great day for apples! Tomorrow - Sunday, is going to be just as nice! -- This photo was taken by our apple picking customer! The powder is clay that we spray on the apples to prevent sunburn! It's all certified organic. See you tomorrow! Bring a picnic and blanket to sit on or use our picnic tables.

We have a large crop so we are selling the organic 'seconds' for a lower price. These 'honeycrisp seconds' are in Bins next to the apple hut. $2/lb - great for cooking, drying, and more!

Our U-Pick organic apples, for picking, remain the same price they've been for years! They taste so good! :)

Bring a blanket and have a picnic, or use our picnic tables. It's starting to feel like fall.

Currently, we are open 4 days/week. Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon.
In October, we will add an additional day!
