Meet Bonnie Cox, a certified organic produce farm in Hood River. Bonnie joined the market in 2017 and has been supplying delicious strawberries, tasty snap peas, lovely greens and so much more ever since. Bonnie has always loved to have her hands in the soil– her first small childhood garden was followed by ever larger plots of land and working on other people’s organic farms.

Now, Bonnie and her husband, Matt, and their dedicated crew farm on Hood River’s Westside. Bonnie carries forward a rich tradition of organic farming, sharing her expertise and passion with her farm crew. Matt delights in problem solving and building; there is much of both to be found on the farm. Together, they love to connect neighbors and friends with tasty, fresh produce.

Summer in Hood River is heating up but we’ve got you covered. Here’s your guide to cold drinks at the Farmers Market:
Sunrise Juice LLC- Fresh-squeezed juices in a rainbow of delicious flavors.

Infradian Moon Holistic Wellness- Ready-to-drink mushroom cacao lattes, or take home a blend to make your own.

COLUMBIA GORGE CRÊPES & COFFEE- Hand-muddled lemonade and a rotating selection of iced coffee.

Beverly Strange- Fan-favorite lavender lemonade.

Sundog Coffee Company- Iced coffee and refreshing matcha.

Pure Blossoms Matcha- High quality, hand-whisked matcha with seasonal specialty flavors.

One of the things that makes our market different? Every food and beverage vendor is making what they sell locally. That means no canned sodas or bottled water, just thoughtfully crafted drinks from local producers. (We do offer a free water bottle refill station at the info booth to help keep shoppers and vendors hydrated.)

Meet Alma and Dave of Peachwood Orchard! Together with their farm crew, they grow more than 20 varieties of peaches and nectarines and focus on harvesting perfectly tree-ripened fruit that’s ready to enjoy.

Since 2016, Alma Gaeta has followed organic farming practices and became certified organic in 2019. They’re one of the few farms in our region offering certified organic peaches, grown with deep care for the land, their community, and future generations.

Alma’s love of farming began by following her grandfather through his farm in Zacatecas, Mexico, where she learned how food, community, and respect for the earth are deeply connected. Dave brings his own agricultural roots and endless practical skills to the orchard. He helps keep everything running smoothly, from tractor repairs to harvest support.

Stop by their booth this Saturday and taste the difference of locally grown, organic, tree-ripened peaches. 🍑

The market is growing and you don’t want to miss it!

Next time you visit, make a point to wander all the way through- especially the north aisle! You might find your new favorite vendor and snag fresh juice, fresh baked goods, local pasta, electrolyte drink mix, hot food, and locally made gifts and art from talented makers.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll have more food producers in the north aisle than you may have come to expect, be sure to check them out!
