Where should our Egg Vending Machine's new home should be? Comment a location or tag a business you think our Egg Vending Machine would be great at! 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙚'𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧!

Edit to add context:
Now that the farmstand is open daily, we are not selling enough eggs per day out of the vending machine for us to justify keeping it going. We are looking for a new home for the vending machine that will be busy enough to keep it going . Eggs will always be available at the farmstand. We WILL have a vending machine at the farmstand this winter again, no worries. ;)

REMINDER: CHECK YOUR NIGHT TIME TEMPS!!!

It was raw, wet, windy and down right gross today! Be sure to take the time to check the night time lows tonight. We are covering just to be safe! You may want to cover or bring in your annual plants.

Also- Farmer Chris said today "this'll kill the cucumbers for sure"... so if tomorrow your cucumbers are dead, just know it was the weather, not you (even if you cover them tonight). 😬

Our fresh meat chickens are back in stock!

These are raised by us, on our farm. They are free range, antibiotic free, preservative free (no 20% saline solution here!!)

We will have fresh chicken available now through Monday, then frozen after that.

Fresh chicken will be available Sat-Mon every week through 4th of July. After that, all remaining chickens will be available frozen until we sell out.

Please be aware that we only raise a certain number of birds each season, so don't wait until last minute to stock up.

These are cornish cross birds, NOT laying hens

Wednesdays are for fresh Sourdough loaves from Spread the JOY Cottage Bakery!
We have the original Sourdough loaf and Everything White Cheddar loaf.

Loaves are available fresh every week on Wednesdays.

Farmer Eloise used the no-till planter to plant corn this past weekend. She planted about 2.5 acres of corn!
We utilize the no-till planter to help with our soil health. It helps retain soil moisture, prevent erosion, and preserves the natural microorganisms and nutrients in the soil. With the current drought conditions, the moisture retention is our main goal in using this planter.

Reminder- check those night time lows!
We aren't covering plants at the farmstand tonight, but we did cover at Flora Bella because it's always a few degrees colder there. Don't risk it, cover it or take them in if you can!
