🌱 From pampered to planted! 😎

These babies are officially in their “get tough” era 💪🥬 — hardening off before they hit the beds!

If you’ve ever taken a plant straight from cozy indoors to full sun, wind, and cooler temps… yeah 😬 they don’t love that. That’s why we harden off — slowly introducing them to the real world so they don’t go into shock.

💡 Farm tip:
• Start with a few hours of sun ☀️
• Gradually increase exposure each day
• Let them feel a little breeze 🌬️
• Tough plants = stronger growth + better yields

Think of it like plant boot camp 🪖🌱 — and these tomatoes are almost ready for deployment!

Just like us, they do better with a little support—that’s where hilling comes in! By mounding soil up around the base of the plant, you help anchor the roots, strengthen the stalk, and protect against wind and top-heavy growth.

Out here doing my garden chores and spotted these little guys 👀
Worker Termites

Not gonna lie… had me a little worried at first 😅 (raised beds are wood, after all)

But after taking a closer look — they’re just doing their thing… breaking down mulch and turning it into rich nutrients for the plants 🌱

Keeping an eye on them 👀
…but for now, they’re part of the team 🌿
