Nancy's Bakery Nancy's Bakery, in the Grays Harbor Farmer's Market located in Hoquiam, WA. Since the early days they have formed a team in the kitchen.

Nancy Lachel has been with the GH Farmer's Market since 1975, 1 year after its inception. For many years she baked out of her kitchen at home and in 1996 she decided she was packing too much back and forth and asked permission to finish the small kitchen in the market with the proper commercial equipment. Once she began baking on site the aromas boosted sales to the point she couldn't keep up so s

he began hiring assistants. The crew at Nancy's bake Tuesday thru Saturday (with an exception of the holiday season) at the Grays Harbor Farmers market, open 7 days a week. Nancy's Bakery offers a wide range of items including: Pies, cookies, muffins, jams, biscotti, cinnamon rolls and more! Good spring day to everybody in Grays Harbor. Once again I am hiring, but for a very specific position. I need an additional person that can roll pie dough. Happy Valentine's everybody, we have something special for Valentine's weekend! Red velvet rolls. They will be in the refrigerated section along with chess(chocolate) pie. Don't forget the frosted sugar hearts, Fruit pies and a new assortment of biscotti. Red velvet biscotti and white chocolate cherry. Happy New Year from Nancy's Bakery! Today is the last day that we have baked items for 2 weeks. We will be closing January 1st through the 12th and reopen on Tuesday the 13th. So if you are going to have any hankering for baked goods from Nancy's then this would be the last day to get it. We have a good selection today.

Good Sunday morning Grays Harbor from Nancy's Bakery in Hoquiam.

First off I have two new enthusiastic young employees to start Tuesday so hopefully we'll be able to keep up with product. Thank you for everybody and their interest.

This morning Brenda and I made 70 jars of jam because we were down to only 12 and that was just strawberry. We now have little Wild blackberry, marionberry and Marion raspberry. Now for the rest of my day off.

Hello folks from Grays Harbor. Once again I'm looking for a new addition to the Nancy's Bakery team. We are into our busy summer season. I'm looking for a person who is reliable and healthy enough to work doing some of what we do:

* cookie scooping
* rolling pie dough
* dishwashing
* Packaging
* customer service, friendly greeting
* able to move 50 lb bags
* able to track mentally multitasking
* able to listen and follow instructions
* mixing and measuring
* taking product in and out of oven
* small kitchen means working in close proximity
* some knowledge of baking math
* has transportation and child care if needed
*5-6 starting time, may vary. Ending time depends on day and what is going on.
* wages begin at minimum wage
* this job can entail quite a bit of standing so you must take your physical ability into consideration
* reliability is big on my list

Please bring a resume into the bakery at 1958 Riverside Avenue hoquiam. Give it to somebody in the bakery or if we are not there give it to somebody in the market and they will give it to us. I'm ready to start scheduling interviews. Thank you for your consideration, Nancy
