Last night we received a phone call around 6 o'clock. Russell had just got home from work. One of our employees told us that a fire had started across the hallway from our store and she had evacuated the grocery store. We got ready and went back to the store to find Our neighboring businesses on fire. It wasn't that bad when we first got there, but soon the flames were getting out of control. Our grocery store did not suffer any direct fire damage, but we have significant smoke damage that will require a lot of work to be operational again. We met with our insurance representative today and we'll soon be meeting with our insurance adjuster. We are at a loss and not really even knowing where to start in all of this. We'll have to make some big decisions. Right now I'm just asking for prayers for our employees and the businesses that suffered total losses. We do not know when our grocery store will be operational again, but we will keep you informed. Thank you to the firefighters from Horseshoe Bend, Ash Flat, Highland, and Franklin that worked tirelessly last night. We greatly appreciate you.
The phone calls, texts, prayers, and people coming by offering help have been overwhelming. Thank you so much!
