And the July hatchlings have now been moved to the main coop.
These are ALL barnyard mixes, not pur bred.
The circle of raising chickens is now completed.
brooder-> transitition coop-> main coop.

These will be available for purchase and should be start laying in the next 2 month.

Well, well, well, with me starting my additional career in Real Estate, I did neglect you followers a bit.

We have eggs are available, egg stand is still only half done, this years hatchlings are growing and some laid their first egg :-)

First picture is LINK, the buck we had.
He made beautiful babies, but took me down too many times...lol
2nd picture is LUIGI, his son, born March last year. Looks like he is trying to grow part of his dad's long coat...

I should call him LUIGI with a s**g!

The last hatchlings for this year are now a month old and will be moved to our transition coop today.

One more day of "hot, then manageable temperatures.
We will need to move the turkeys and May babies into the big coop and the July hatchlings into the temp coop...
Eggs are scarce too right now...
Just tooo hot!

About to do chores...
Sitting in the car with the hubby, A/C running and cooling off.
Our farmhouse does not have air conditioning, just a big ass 6ft ceiling fan in the livingbroom... lol
