Happy Labor Day! Just when you thought the busy time was winding down, we have two VERY important events to remind you about!
This Wednesday, September 9th, we are graciously hosting PAM SURPRENANT, candidate for Lake Twp Supervisor!! PAM currently resides on our Twp board as a trustee and we are so fortunate and honored to help spread the word of her candidacy for SUPERVISOR!!
Stop in from 3-6pm on Sept 9th and you can see for yourself what a strong, competent leader PAM is!! Our food truck will be serving Coney dogs and French fries for $1. Our township deserves a LEADER like PAM!

The second event I need to share is our township board meeting on Tuesday at 7pm. The support we received at the planning commission was amazing and we hope to see more community members Tuesday.
You see, I consider it a win at the planning commission. They unanimously voted to allow porta potties and food trucks on commercial properties. But someone wants that changed to not allow food trucks or porta potties on commercial property. This isn’t just about Four Seasons, it’s about our community! Tuesday the board votes and the final outcome will be determined. There are several other important topics like STRs and fences that should be discussed. Now is the time to let your voice be heard!
We hope to see as many of you as we can at both events!!!

Good morning Houghton Lake. I’m usually on here showing you our delicious donuts and products. Today I am here for a different reason. I am asking for your help.

Today is the day our voices can be heard for Lake Township! We tried to have a porta-potty for your convenience and we were forced to remove it. We even went to court to try to keep it. Now some individuals want to ban them for good. These same individuals with power are now trying to create an ordinance banning food trucks. These are just a few items to be discussed at the planning commission meeting today at 2pm.

Join me in letting our township know what WE the people want!

As the kids start heading back to school and the cool nights roll in, we are going to roll back our hours just a bit. Starting August 17th we will be open 9-8pm Monday-Thursday. 9-9pm Friday and Saturday. And 9-6pm on Sundays. August 21st will be our last Friday donut day. Don’t worry!!! You can still come get your fresh delicious donuts on Saturdays and Sundays!!
