Martin’s Episcopal Church is to glorify God through sharing the Gospel and the bounties of the earth with Parishioners, neighbors, and visitors. Sterling’s Market has come into fruition as a lasting memorial to Sterling Reckling, a young entrepreneur who grew up only blocks from St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. A few years ago, he told Dr. Levenson that many of his fellow “market” friends had expres

sed an interest in offering their goods at a weekly market near St. Martin’s. When Sterling lost his life in 2021, his parents, James and Elise Reckling, and Dr. Levenson began discussing the “market” and how it could complement the neighborhoods around St. Martin’s and beyond.
