Happy feast everyone!

Today is the feast of of the equal to the apostles Saints Cyril and Methodius in the Byzantine rite (which is used by both Ukrainians and Rusyns). They are called equal to the apostles because of their missionary efforts in converting the Slavic peoples. Not only are they known as the apostles to the Slavs, but they are also our festival patrons.
