Hey good people,

Recently, we were part of a panel with the City of Houston focused on how health equity and the built environment intersect—everything from building codes to green spaces, and what it really takes to create communities where people can thrive.

We were the only voice in the room speaking directly on food access.

And one thing we made clear is this: food access shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be built into communities from the very beginning.

Because when it’s not, the impact shows up in real ways—longer travel for basic needs, limited access to fresh food, and environments that don’t support overall health.

This work goes beyond what’s on the plate. It’s about how communities are designed, who they’re designed for, and what’s considered essential from the start.

Grateful to be part of conversations like this—and even more committed to the work ahead.

Hey good people,

We’re getting back outside.

This time, we’re not in just one space—we’re showing up across Houston, supporting local community gardens and doing the work where it’s needed.

Our first stop is at Julia C. Hester House, and we’d love for you to pull up and serve with us. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been with us before, there’s a place for you here.

This is how we build community. This is how we stay connected.

Scan the QR code or use the link in our bio to join us.

Follow our herd.

Hey good people,

We’ve been thinking about how we want to show up this season—and one thing that keeps coming up is spending more time in community.

Not just in one space, but across Houston. Showing up, getting our hands in the soil, and supporting where it’s needed.

We’re thinking about organizing more volunteer days like this…

Would you pull up and join us?

Drop a 💚 if you’d be down to join us.

We won.

And we did it while honoring our family.

Recently, we were part of a vegan cook-off here in Houston. We built this dish from the ground up using ingredients sourced from local farms across the city. Our team showed up. From the garden, to prepping, to building out the full experience at our table, everybody played a role in bringing this together.

The dish came together with coconut jasmine rice, charred vegetables, and our herb pup—layered with a herb cream sauce and finishing sauce. They didn’t just show up on the plate either—they were right there with us, cooking, prepping, and sharing their work with the community.

We dedicated it to Grandpa Wardell, and the judges experienced it on china that once belonged to him—so yeah, this one carried meaning.

So while yes—we won the inaugural vegan cook-off, what stays with us is the process, the people, and the reminder that food can carry legacy, community, and purpose all at once. Moments like this remind us why we’re building what we’re building.

Grateful for the team, the partners, and the community that continues to show up with us.

Shoutout to for hosting such a great event.

See you next week!!

See you next week!!

Hey friends,

We’ve decided to postpone the remaining events for the week due to unexpected technical and weather challenges. Recent storms caused damage to some of our outdoor art installations, and our power setup isn’t fully back online yet — so instead of rushing, we’re taking a pause to ensure everything returns even better than before.

Your safety, comfort, and experience mean everything to us. 💚
Stay tuned — we’ll share the new dates soon for our art installations, community wellness sessions, and music experiences.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we rebuild and reset with care.
