A question I get asked very often is what the heck does my name mean?

Verdi & Varnier!
How did I come up with the name?

Verdi is my paternal grandmotherā€™s maiden name. Varnier is my maternal grandmotherā€™s maiden name.
Love and miss them both dearly.

My Grandma Lucy (Verdi) had a ā€œthingā€ for collecting any red and white twisted bakery twine that entered her home. You will see a lot of bakery twine used in my baked goods in her honor.

My Nanny (Varnier- itā€™s French, and pronounced Varn-yay) taught me everything I know about gardening and all of my flowers that you see and that I share were planted in her honor!

Thanks for visiting my homage to two amazing women that greatly influenced my hobbies!

Iā€™m excited to add something new to our little corner of the community!

The Monarch Miscellany is a trinket trading box where visitors can swap small treasures, keepsakes, handmade items, charms, stickers, pins, mini collectibles, and other fun little finds. It is located on the Verdi and Varnier farmstand.

āœØ How It Works:
-Take an item you love.
-Leave an item of similar value in its place.
-Trade onlyā€”please donā€™t take items without leaving something behind.
-Keep all items family-friendly and in good condition.
-Have fun discovering new treasures and sharing a little joy with others!

A Friendly Reminder:
The items inside the Monarch Miscellany Trading Box are available for trade.
However, all items offered at the Verdi & Varnier Farmstand are still purchase only and are not part of the trading box program.
