This is the first year that I have been able to grow Ashwaghanda successfully. I can always start them inside with no problem. They grow into a beautiful plant. As soon as I plant them outdoors, insects devour them. I have tried all kinds of natural repellents to tenting each plant individually to no avail. This year I put a hop and netting around them and they are doing wonderfully. They are growing perfectly with no insects bothering them at all. This will be my go to for the years to follow. I can’t wait to see how lovely they will be for the root harvest this fall.
