Today is voting day. Please educate yourself about the issues, and the true costs before making your vote. If you’re concerned about the high taxes in town, this is your chance to speak up. If you don’t vote, we don’t want to hear your complaints!

Think about the costs of plumbing issues, graffiti removal and any extra cleanings that need to be done due to careless disrespect of the facility. Would this facility make the park more appealing for homeless encampments or drug activity? Keep in mind that costs noted below are only for the 6ish months that the facility would be open during the year.

There are 3 questions on the ballet. It is simple - a ‘yes’ vote means you are for the bathroom project, and a ‘no’ vote means you are against building a public restroom in Old Tannery Park.

Whether you are for it or against it, your opinion won’t matter unless you go to the town office and vote today!!

We know many people in town have been working hard on this project, and we commend them for their efforts. Please keep your comments positive and factual or they will be deleted.

Please consider helping Jimmy if you can. He was one of our Corner Store regulars. Jimmy would often stop on his way to work as a custodian for the Howland school department. He won’t be able to get back to work for quite a while, and we’re hoping the community will help get him back on his feet ❤️

We know we are part of an amazing community, and we’re asking for your help for one of our regular customers.

Voting is today for a new selectperson and a straw poll on how town residents feel about putting a public bathroom in at Old Tannery Park. If you want a say in how your tax dollars are spent, GET OUT AND VOTE!

Check out this family-friendly event happening this weekend - May 27th & 28th from 11 to 4🚤

This motorboat race has been permitted by Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and the APBA. The Snack Shack at Morgan's Beach will be open for this event!

Spectators are welcome. The beach will be cordoned off and no swimming will be allowed during the hours of the event, as the focus is safety.
