Just a quick announcement for everyone, the business has been wonderful this year and it’s greatly appreciated. Couple of changes though. Starting this year I will no longer be field dressing those who feel they do not need to take these important steps as soon as the animal is harvested. My job as the processor is to obviously process the animal, your job as the harvester is to properly field dress said animal. Field dressing would include removing all internal organs that may potentially harm any meat. For example: heart, lungs, liver, stomach, intestines, a**s, urine sack. If the need to remove any of these internal organs because of the lack of responsibility while field dressing will come with a fee. If you don’t know how to properly field dress an animal there are many options. You can watch a YouTube video, ask a fellow hunter who does, or simply don’t stop until all said organs are removed. The removal of these organs are crucial to the quality of your meat and has nothing to do with your processor. If you think it’s too yucky… put down your weapons and find a new hobby. As always good luck and stay safe!
