Today we are giving a huge shoutout to our amazing crew and all they do, behind our counter or cash register, at the butcher block or tending the bakery oven or keeping our retail store well stocked with your favorite meats, cheeses and fresh bakery.

We are so grateful for their dedication and proud of the pride they take in their work. Happy Labor Day from our family to yours! We hope everyone gets a chance to kick back and relax today. ❤️

• Michael Jackson music video "Bad" premiered.
• South Africa's longest mine strike in history ends after 21 days
• The Great Potato Incident: Minor league Williamsport Bills catcher Dave Breshahan attempts to lure an opposing baserunner off third base using a potato carved to look like a baseball; umpire calls runner safe, and the catcher is fined $50 and released by the team.
• RJ’s Meats officially opens its doors for business.

What a day in history that was. We want to thank Hudson and surrounding communities for their support these last 39 years. Cheers to the future!
