It's pawpaw season in Tennessee.

We are selling our pawpaw patch in Yorkville, TN. It's 0.8 acre. There is a year round creek on the property. There is one wild tree that is already producing. We have a Rappahannock (R), Susquehanna (R) and Potomac (R) which are going on their 3rd year. We have another 95 trees grown from seed procured from fruit at Kentucky State University and Jerry Lehman's Orchard. We have mother trees in Brazil, so we will be happy to supply any scion you need for grafting. We are asking $10,000. The property is just down from the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. You can call me at the number on the for sale sign. (FYI...We will have the Brazil orchard listed for $50,000 and we're raising the price $500 at the first of every month, until it reaches $85,000, if you want to get in on that.)

The process transformed a fruit completely full of seeds into a parthenocarpic seedless fruit that develops in the absence of pollination.

The earliest archaeological evidence of domesticated bananas was dated to 7,000 years ago.
