MARKET REOPENING!

You may have driven by the market in recent days and noticed a sign out by the road - "Coddle Creek Farms at The Bradford Store." That's right! Steve Young, the owner and operator of Coddle Creek Farms is expanding into The Bradford Store, and he will be open for business starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17!

You know those amazing nut and seed butters we sold at the market? Those are Steve's products, and his family has owned and operated their local honey farm for three generations. 

Steve and his crew will be working to stock the market with all kinds of fresh local products for you all, so make sure to stop in regularly and offer some grace as he gets things up and running. Don't hesitate to introduce yourself.

The store's operating hours will be Tuesdays through Saturdays 10:00am - 6:00pm, and closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The main reason we have had to rush our closing is because I have already accepted a job offer in Ohio and we need to move up north as soon as possible. With that said, our final day of operations will be this Monday, February 23. As our recent posts have shown, we still have lots of amazing fresh produce, meat, dairy products (which will now be on sale even though it was just delivered), eggs, locally made soaps, everyone's favorite peanut butter, jams, natural sodas, some amazing locally made artisan items, and much more!

Thank you for all of your continued support, well wishes, and help clearing out our inventory! We also have some great items available in the Cash Cabin. Come on in Thursday through Monday for some awesome deals and to stock up on your favorite items.

I will be working on another newsletter that will provide details on how you can continue to get your favorite local and organic items (meat, dairy, produce, eggs, etc.), so keep an eye out for future posts.

The latest we will be open for business will be Monday, March 2, but it looks like it may be sooner. Come stock up while you can! We still have a great selection of fresh produce, personal care items, jams, nut butters, dairy, and much more! It's also a great time to snag that local artisan item that you've had your eye on.

The time has come for Frank and I to start our next chapter in life. We have made the decision to move to Ohio to be closer to family; to be more present with some of those who matter most to us. It will be very difficult to leave this amazing space and local community. We are so thankful that the Bradford family has allowed us to nurture and continue the legacy of the Bradford Store. We are also incredibly grateful for all of the dedicated support from each and every one of our customers, and to all of our local farmers, artisans, and small businesses that we have had the privilege of supporting through the market.

We hope that you will continue to focus your shopping at locally owned businesses and farmers markets, and we encourage you to go directly to the source when buying anything you may need. Instead of buying online through big corporate conglomerates or at big box grocery stores, seek out the brands and farms that you have grown to love and buy directly from them. For example, if you love our coffee brand, Dynamite Roasting, order online on their website or take a nice drive to Black Mountain, NC and pick some up at their shop. I have already mapped out the locally owned grocery stores and farmer’s markets near our new house in Ohio so that we can also continue supporting our local economy and community.
