Today we celebrate the retirement of Christine Landis, known by many as Chris or affectionately as “the Gluten Free Lady.” 🎉

Chris began her journey at Brenneman’s Meat Market in December of 1999, and after more than 26 years of dedication, she will officially retire on March 13, 2026.

Over the years, Chris became so much more than an employee. She was a loyal team member, a hardworking friend, and someone who could always be counted on. Whether it was stepping up when the day got busy or tackling a task that no one else wanted, Chris never hesitated. Her strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed made her an important part of the shop and our community.

Many customers came to know her as “the Gluten Free Lady,” always ready to help and share her knowledge with a smile. 😊

Chris, thank you for your 26 years of commitment, dedication, and heart you brought to the market every day. You will truly be missed, but we are so happy for you as you begin this new chapter of retirement.
