Southside - Huntington, WV Neighborhood Craft Market

Hi everyone!

We are organizing a Holiday Bazaar in our neighborhood scheduled for Saturday, November 5th!

For those of you that are Southside residents, you will get prime spots to set up if you sign up by Friday, October 28th. After that we will open up more spots to the Tri-State area.

Details about the event:

WHEN: Saturday, November 5th
TIME: 10am to 4pm (setup time - 8am to 10am)
LOCATION: Miller Park (rain or shine)
COST: $20 for a 10x10 space, you provide your own tent

Tentative activities we’re also working on include:

Pictures with Santa (use your own camera)
Pet Pictures with Santa (use your own camera)
Local food trucks

Please comment with your name and business if you would like to participate - I will be posting an official form to print and fill out later today!

We are looking to host a Holiday Bazaar either the first or second weekend of November and would like to know how many of you would be interested in participating!

Two questions:

1. Which weekend would be best - November 5/6 or November 12/13?

2. Would you rather have:

A. Longer 1 day event (8am to 2pm / 9am to 3pm on Saturday)
B. Shorter 2 day event (9am to 1pm Saturday, 1pm to 5pm Sunday)
C. Shorter 1 day event (8am to 12pm or 9am to 1pm on Daturday)

**This event would be outdoors, rain or shine**

Should we generate enough interest, we are hoping to add food trucks and pictures with Santa!

Hi, friends! I was not able to lock down the beginning of September, as I’d hoped. I know it’s short notice, but how many would be interested in selling their goods the same day as the neighborhood yard sale (September 24th)? Let me know ASAP if you’d like a spot on that date. If so, I’ll clear it with the park board. Thanks!

Thanks to our vendors, shoppers, neighbors, and the beautiful weather for another great craft market. I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday.

Our next craft market is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 3rd.

We have a new date for our next craft market, May 14th!
This will coincide with our neighborhood yard sale, so it should bring in a larger crowd from all over.

If interested in participating/selling, I still have a few spots open. Please message the page for an application and return it to me ASAP. Fee is $10 for your space, plus ONE of your items donated (we will do a raffle basket of all items).

You'll provide your own table, tent, chair, etc.

We would like this to be more of a craft/maker/producer market and less of resell of company items.

I will limit the same types of products to keep it fair for sellers also.

We hope to see as many, if not more, folks from our market last year. We had a lot of fun!

Unfortunately, with the predicted weather reports for Saturday, we believe it is best to cancel this event. We hope to have a new date in mind soon. Stay dry!
