Pearly's Natural Food and Mercantile The Health & Welfare of our Citizens & the Planet Sadly, the previous owner, Myrna Copeland, passed away in December 2012.

Pearly's Natural Foods & Mercantile, formerly Pearly Gates, is an old fashioned, locally owned, Natural Foods Store, that has been in business for 40 years at the same location. Mryna’s daughter, Deanna McGrew, and her son, Jim Copeland are continuing her legacy and after closing temporarily and going through a reorganization, Pearly’s Natural Foods & Mercantile is now open for business. Along wit

h new items, the store will continue to house one of the south’s largest assortments of bulk herbs, essential oils & aroma therapy products, vitamin & mineral supplements, dried fruits & nuts, herbal tea, bulk dry goods & baking products, home wine & beer making supplies and general grocery items and much more. The store will continue to expand in to new areas including local products from farmers, artisans, craftspeople and service providers. Pearly's is committed to being a sustainable and responsible business serving our customers and community with friendly and loving service and support.
