Madison County Farmers Market Farmers Market The Madison County Farmer's Market is one of the oldest institutions still in business.

The market started out in the basement of the Madison County Courthouse as early as 1814. The market has been moved many times over the years before the present building was constructed in 1984. The middle portion is set aside for 50 produce farmers to sell their fresh fruits and vegetables.

The Madison County Farmers Market will open Saturday, April 18th for the 2026 season! Operating hours for the Market will be Saturdays from 8:00am to 2:00pm from April 18 until November 21, 2026.

We will be having an informational meeting at the Market on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00pm for prospective vendors. Please make plans to join us for this brief meeting.

Reminder that today will be our last market day for the 2025 season! It’s been another great season, and we are already looking forward to being back next year.

We are here today and open until 2. Ayer’s Farm, located on the west side of the market, will be open until 6. They are here year round. Thank you for your continuous support of our vendors and local farmers.

Starting next week, our social media pages will not be monitored until we have updates for the 2026 season. For any inquires, please email [email protected] .

Our vendors have some exciting new items this week, in addition to their tried-and-trues.

The Huntsville Gourd Patch will be renting out the East Room today for their monthly art sessions. Feel free to stop in to see what they’re making, and to get more info on joining their next session.

We will be here until 2pm or until the vendors sell out. Ayer’s will be open until 6. We hope to see you soon!

Our vendors’s tables are full of freshly harvested produce, delicious baked goods, and handmade crafts!

Some items are selling quickly, and there are many great, locally-grown options. The earlier you come, the more you get to choose from!

We will be leaving at two today. A quick reminder: Our last day for the season is November 15th. We still get another full month of market days before the 2025 season ends! 🎉
