Andy's adventures Andy was diagnosed with Celiac disease shortly before his third birthday. This page is to watch our journey as we navigate this new life style.

I will post what works for us and what doesn't that includes food, recipes, ect.

Andy had a recent checkup at Cincinnati Children's, and his August diagnosis marked two years. His blood work showed perfect celiac levels, which is a relief since his previous numbers were high. This means Andy isn't consuming any glutenous foods or getting cross-contaminated, always a concern. Watch for my post about navigating traveling with a toddler who has celiac and living in a household where gluten is allowed.

Andy had a appointment in Cincinnati yesterday to see the nutritionist. He is doing good and has gained a couple of pounds but there's still a big possibility he's type 1 diabetic. We won't know for certain until more tests are ran. We learned a few things that we didn't know but most of the material we already knew from our own research. Andy did well on the trip he normally does though.
