You can find us at the Booker Building in English Park, Altavista, every 2nd Saturday. The park stretches along the banks of the Staunton River, a beautiful area that makes market day feel like a little getaway.

Strawberry Week part 2 - Strawberry Syrup!

This is perfect for baking with, adding to your coffee or sodas, or to add as a topping to your ice cream.

1. Top your berries and set aside
2. Place tops in a large pot and cover with water
3. Add equal parts sugar to water and bring to a low simmer until tops are white/translucent
4. Strain out the tops
5. Add to your jars and process in a water bath for 10 minutes
6. Let sit for 24 hours before removing rings and then enjoy!!

The girls have been laying like crazy these past few weeks and our counters are overflowing with eggs! If you're local, we can set up porch pickup or meetup to get you a dozen! We always have them.

If anyone has any fun ideas on what to make with lots of eggs, I'm all ears!

Here's the whole slew of hats that I've worked on for the past few weeks! Hats were new to me this year but I quite like making them!

Thinking about building up a stock of some items and maybe doing a small drop... Would anyone be interested? What would you want to see?

It may be cold outside and things seem slow, but my hands have stayed busy! I made a lot of Christmas gifts this year which has been a fun change of pace from making mostly squares for dishcloths.
